Abans, sole distributor for Lenovo Smartphones in Sri Lanka, recently unveiled the Lenovo A2010, the affordable 4G LTE Dual SIM smartphone, packed with advanced features found in top of the range models of smartphones.
The Lenovo A2010 features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (854×480 pixels) touchscreen display, and is powered by the MediaTek MT6735M, which comes with an embedded quad-core CPU clocked at 1 GHz. The phone also comes with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of built-in storage. It has a 5-megapixel fixed focus rear-facing camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing selfie camera.
4G is the name given to the fourth generation of mobile networks, just as the previous generation is called 3G. 4G LTE aims to offer users faster, more reliable mobile broadband internet for devices like smartphones and tablets, faster internet access, faster downloads of videos and songs and faster connectivity to Facebook and other apps. The term 4G LTE is really two terms. 4G means the fourth generation of data technology for cellular networks following 3G, the third generation. LTE stands for ‘Long Term Evolution’ and is short for a very technical process for high-speed data for mobile devices.
The device runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with VIBE UI laid on top. It also carries a removable battery, which is rated at 2,000 mAh. Lenovo claims, the battery is powerful enough to give 8.5 hours of talk time and 276 hours of standby time. Coming to the connectivity options on the Lenovo A2010, the smartphone supports 4G LTE as mentioned already, alongside Wi-Fi, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 LE and micro USB 2.0.
The handset is being offered by Lenovo in two different colour options – White and Black. The smartphone measures 131.5 mm in length, 66.5 mm in width and is 9.95 mm thick. As for its weight, the A2010 reportedly weighs 137 grams and competes with other LTE-enabled smartphones in the market.
Lenovo has introduced A2010 as its economical 4G LTE Dual-SIM smartphone from its A series and has emerged as the biggest 4G smartphone brand according to the latest IDC report for Q2 2015 with 30% market share and is poised to further extend its reach in the product portfolio through its latest offering.
Lenovo A2010 offers a perfect balance of speed, performance and ergonomics with the latest OS–Android 5.1 Lollipop. With a powerful 2,000 mAh battery blended in an innovative one-hand lightweight design, Lenovo A2010 has been crafted taking into consideration the aspirations of young consumers who are constantly on the lookout for high quality products at an affordable price.
