A seminar focused on building powerful business applications ‘Developing Agile Business Applications – Are You Ready?’ will be held on Tuesday 24 November at the Water’s Edge, Colombo.
Due to the ever changing market conditions and fast-paced business environment, companies are constantly pressured to adapt rapidly and efficiently. CIOs and IT leaders, who in turn, have to deliver these changes, face even bigger challenges as a result.
More than ever, business leaders need to understand that a one-size-fits-all approach does not work. Businesses need to develop high quality software rapidly and reliably to enhance user experience and stay ahead of competition. Embracing Agile Application Development will help businesses build a strong competitive advantage. As agile processes are highly collaborative, iterative and all focused on the rapid delivery of software, the benefits to organisations of ‘going agile’ far outweigh the costs.
Kingslake together with its partners will showcase its suite of solutions which rapidly develop and deliver business applications that fuel customer success.
Speaking at this event would be Kingslake Chairman Dr. S. Dharmavasan who will share his views and knowledge on why ‘Agile’ is important and the benefits of it. Progress Software Channels Director APJ Benjamin Wong will also share his views on what it takes to go ‘Agile’ and how Progress has managed to cater to this business need with its innovative offerings. The session would be continued by Kingslake Chief Technical Officer Damian Fernando, who will share his knowledge on the available tools, best practices and case studies in the area of Agile App Development. Concluding the session would be Dialog Axiata PLC General Manager Products and Service Innovation Venura Mendis, who will be sharing Dialog’s role in the AppDev Ecosystem.
The presented solutions would include:
A cloud based platform that enables Rapid Application Development (RAD) and deployment of SaaS (Software as a Service) application accessible from both mobile and web; an end-to-end mobile application development tool that optimises application delivery, management and analysis across all platforms. A Content Management System (CMS) that enables the construction of dynamic, fully editable web sites. A high performance and secure data connectivity solution to manage and integrate data across relational, Big Data and cloud data sources. A Business Rules Management Systems (BRMS) to automate decision making in core business processes. Kingslake CEO Duleep Fernando said: “Since 1994 Kingslake has been helping businesses to be competitive using innovative and fit for purpose applications.”
As this event will be exclusively for invitees only, CIOs and CTOs who are on the lookout for agile application development solutions can register for this event by calling Kingslake on 011 77 99 200 before 23 November.
