A seminar themed ‘Digitalisation Simplified’, organised by Kingslake and Progress on 7 July at OZO Colombo, was attended by Chief Marketing Officers and Chief Information Officers from diverse industry segments.
Digital technologies are radically transforming businesses today. However, many organisations continue to resist change due to a lack of skills, technology constraints and leadership.
Speaking of the Digital Transformation, Kingslake CEO Duleep Fernando explained that Digital Transformation was disrupting everything: industries, economies, jobs and lives. He stated that businesses needed to adapt and evolve or they would be in danger of losing significant business volume. As such business leaders need to understand that their businesses need to digitally transform to overcome challenges.
Elaborating further on this, Benjamin Wong, Managing Director, Asia, Progress, said: “There is no doubt that the right digital capabilities will provide an edge for Asian organisations functioning in the dynamic and competitive business environment we are witnessing today. Progress empowers organisations to digitally transform, to create and sustain engaging user experiences.”
Reap Digital MD/Co-Founder V. Dinesh gave the audience in-depth insight into customer journey optimisation to accelerate outcomes. He elaborated on how a tool like Sitefinity can help customers to achieve this.
Edwyn Lee, Principal Sales Engineer, Asia, Progress presented how to build a seamless omnichannel customer experience showcasing Progress® Sitefinity™ CMS and Digital Experience Cloud (DEC), the content management and customer analytics platforms that help businesses build engaging websites and convert and retain customers across the entire customer lifecycle. Sitefinity DEC also enables organisations to track, analyse and shape every step of the customer journey.
