The Kaspersky Small Office Security, the security solution built specifically for businesses with fewer than 25 employees by the globally renowned Kaspersky can now be obtained in Sri Lanka.
The latest product from the Kaspersky Lab provides world-class protection and easy use without the need for specialist IT skills. New features make it easier to focus valuable resources on running and developing the business while keeping operations, customer’s and employee’s data secure.
Nowadays, small businesses are frequently becoming prey for cybercriminals because they generally pay less attention for cyber security while housing increasingly valuable data. According to recent survey results, the share of companies that allow usage of personal employee’s devices within the corporate network has grown to 62% in 2014. At the same time, although businesses realise that customer’s personal information (25%), payment requisites (13%) and trade secrets (12%) are among top priorities of their information security needs, they keep taking very basic protective measures, relying, for example, on free anti-malware products. Respondents indicated that they desire a powerful, but simple and easy-to-use security solution that would come at an affordable price.
Kaspersky Small Office Security is equipped with enterprise-grade technologies, but it was designed specifically to serve the needs of very small businesses. It brings the power of the award-winning anti-malware and online transactions protection, cloud management, backup and password management, in an easy-to-use manner that is demanded by this segment.
“Running a small business can be very exciting and fun, but being small doesn’t mean being less noticeable by cybercriminals. It’s very important for businesses to pay more attention to ensuring their cyber security, and Kaspersky Small Office Security has made it easy. It’s straightforward to install, simple to configure, and easy to maintain, so that business owners can get on with doing what they do best: making the company a success,” said Kaspersky Lab Head of Endpoint Product Management Konstantin Voronkov.
Kaspersky Lab Managing Director – South Asia Altaf Halde came to Sri Lanka to launch the new product, which is marketed by Avian, a diversified group of companies with an abide interest in IT, Leisure and apparel industries.
“Small businesses have been a big revenue contributor to the South Asian countries and they are growing at a tremendous pace. Kaspersky Small Office Security has been a preferred solution for the small businesses. The new version of the product brings in more advanced capabilities to handle all the IT Security concerns without compromising on the ease of usability,” he says.
