The one-of-a-kind IT festival, taking place at Sri Lanka’s mall for IT retailers and multinational companies, was introduced in 2013 to showcase the world’s leading IT brands and the latest technology on offer.
The festival is on until 24 December at the Unity Plaza shopping mall, and will run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. In addition to experiencing cutting-edge technology and services, customers can benefit from special promotions and deals on offer from a number of global technology providers. Bundle offers, total package deals and fourth generation products will also be available at special prices.
Intel’s Experience Demo Area, with a training zone, will be a key highlight throughout the event. It is equipped with state-of-the-art technology including PCs, laptops, desktops, tablets and mobile devices powered by Intel. Attendees will have a chance to try out these various devices, including the very latest products such as Intel’s tablets and Ultrabooks. The chipmaker will also showcase an ‘Intel on Wheels’ mobile unit at the Unity Plaza Car Park with Intel-powered products. Together with their partners, the Intel mobile centre will offer free giveaways, great deals and discounts for many of the products on display.
“Sri Lanka’s IT literacy is on a fast track at present and it is in this context that Intel takes part in the Unity Plaza IT Shopping Festival 2014. Our goal is to enable customers to take advantage of the great deals on offer and ensure that they are exposed to the latest technologies available. Customers can experience a number of products powered and inspired by Intel at the festival and we believe that this will give us the opportunity to foster enhanced IT usage in Sri Lanka,” said Intel EM Ltd. Sri Lanka Liaison Office Country Business Manager Indika de Zoysa.
