Intel Sri Lanka, together with several local partners, has launched a road show to take ICT into rural communities in the country. The mobile Intel experience and sales centre is equipped with state-of-the-art technology including PCs, laptops, desktops, tablets, and mobile devices powered by Intel.  “We are giving consumers across the island access to technology,” said Intel EM Ltd (Sri Lanka Liaison office) Country Business Manager Indika de Zoysa. “With plans underway to make Sri Lanka 75% IT literate in the next two years, it’s imperative that all Sri Lankans have access to the very best and latest technological advances on par with their global peers to prepare them for the future.” Attendees will have a chance to try out these various devices, including the very latest products such as tablets powered by Intel and Ultrabooks inspired by Intel. Together with their partners the mobile centres will also offer great deals and discounts for many of the products on display. The road shows, which kicked off last month, will continue around the island during the upcoming months.
