Bangalore (IANS): Infosys Ltd has expanded its Singapore operations by setting up a new development centre and plans to hire over 600 people to strengthen its presence in Southeast Asia, the IT bellwether said last week.
“As a regional hub in southeast Asia, the 450-seat new facility in Singapore will play a strategic role in our operations. We plan to hire over 600 fresh engineers and laterals from the top three Singaporean universities,” Infosys Board Member Ashok Vemuri said in a statement.
The company, which forayed into Singapore seven years ago to address business demands in the regional market, plans to set up an innovation hub to serve its clients across verticals.
