Visual Computing Systems (VCS), a tier one certified Hewlett-Packard (HP) partner, recently joined forces with its parent Company, Informatics to improve marketing and customer service standards for the full range of HP solutions including servers and notebooks and storage and software solutions.

“This partnership will help us stay closer to HP users and provide them with better customer service and enhance user experience,” said Hasith Wickramasinghe, Director of Informatics Group of Companies.

“Since April 2011 we have opened new service centres in Sri Lanka and Maldives as our motivation is to cater to our customers raising requirements and provide them with all types of services ranging from hardware support including installation, warranty upgrades, maintenance and 24x7 problem resolutions to infrastructure management,” he added.

This decision was a result of a major restructuring process in the Informatics Group. It aims at adjusting to the changing technologies, raising market competitiveness and increasing customer requirements.

One of the most important factors is that the company decided to bring the entire marketing team under one umbrella so that the synergy of all marketing groups could complement each other and be able to function more efficiently. This allows for joint marketing activities that result in providing customers with value-added solutions.

Informatics (Pvt) Ltd. was founded in 1983 with a mission to ‘Build Better Solutions Through Integration’. Within over two decades it grew into a global IT company dedicated to developing only the most effective IT solutions for local and global clients. It provides qualified software solutions for telecom, banking, insurance and governmental sectors.
