IFS extends corporate performance management capability

IFS, the global enterprise applications company, has extended its IFS CPM solution to enable a full 360 degree perspective of processes and performance. The operational intelligence capabilities ensure that managers have better situation awareness to support real-time adaptive decision-making. The solution prioritises and alerts on what needs attention, giving managers real-time operational intelligence and actionable controls to tackle issues immediately. This results in better team work and improved efficiency across the organization. The direct insight into organisational value drives continual improvement and more effective strategy management for a business. IFS CPM consolidates separate transactional data and event streams into a single dynamic management layer across the enterprise. The solution provides cockpits that deliver unique visibility, comprehensive business intelligence and analytics, alerting, decision-support and execution controls covering the entire range of management activities from strategic planning to the process performance of daily operations. As an integrated element of IFS Applications, IFS CPM connects easily to other data sources and systems to provide a single-source view of predefined parameters for the user. The offering has been developed through IFS’s experience in the market dynamics of aviation and defence, where responsiveness and performance are key considerations. This increased capability will now extend through the entire IFS offering to provide benefits with end-to-end controls and associated templates. IFS CPM includes the processes used to manage corporate performance. It also includes the methodologies that drive some of the processes (e.g. balanced scorecard and value-based management) and the metrics used to measure performance against strategic and operational performance goals (KPIs and KRIs). The analytic applications that provide the functionality to support these processes, methodologies and metrics are included. The IFS CPM solution was developed in close cooperation with VisionWaves, with whom IFS signed a strategically important, global partnership agreement on 30 October.
