The ICT Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA) will launch the Spiralation Connect Mobile project at Park Street Mews (50/1) Park Street Colombo at 2.00 p.m. on 13 July.
Although the session concerned has been held earlier in the ICTA premises this is the first time the session is held outside ICTA premises. This is also the first time more than 20 CXO level mentors are coming together to assist budding entrepreneurs.
The new spin-off project ‘Spiralation Connect Mobile’, provides a platform for budding entrepreneurs to have their ideas refined and shaped through experience sharing, guidance and mentoring.
Spiralation Connect Mobile, the first in a series of themed networking sessions, will focus on mobile technologies and entrepreneurs who wish to launch their startup in mobile space. Participants will have the opportunity to have one on one mentoring sessions with mentors who are equipped with different skill sets ranging from idea validation, business, technology and marketing which will play the key role.
Spiralation Connect Mobile will focus on the mobile solution space and hopes to cover the essential factors budding entrepreneurs need to consider when launching a start-up. It is ideal for technology enthusiasts, budding entrepreneurs, those who are engaged in start-ups and mobile application developers. The session will include case studies from start-ups to global leaders, panel discussions, one –to –one mentoring, networking and refreshments.
ICTA’s programme called ‘Spiralation’ of which “Spiralation Connect Mobile is a spin-off ” (Spiralation <https://www.facebook.com/spiralation> ) is ICTA’s accelerator program designed to support tech start-ups. It targets business enterprises either new or in early stages of development and encourages entrepreneurs island-wide to launch businesses that translate their ideas into new technology products and/or services. A characteristic the potential entrepreneurs in the Spiralation program are recommended to ensure in their products / services is that they address market gaps and assist new ICT related innovations.
