Information Technology is the backbone of businesses today, and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICASL) having understood the changing patterns of IT in today’s business world, has organised an insightful lecture titled ‘Cloud Computing – What is it? Why should you care?’
The lecture delivered by Peter D’Almeida, Managing Director and Chief Executive of N*able is scheduled to be held on 7 June 2011 from 5.30 p.m. at the ICASL’s Pegasus Hall, Colombo 7.
The discussion is specially targeted at members of the institute who hold a diverse range of corporate positions in both the private and public sectors in the country. The lecture is also open to members of the public who are interested in the topic.
D’Almeida during his lecture will focus on taking the jargon out of Cloud Computing and explain in practical terms how it can enable professions and business owners to run their businesses faster and more effectively. Admission for the lecture is free.
