Huawei, the fastest growing smartphone brand in Sri Lanka, introduced the ‘Huawei Experience Store’ at the Kandy City Centre (KCC) recently amidst a ceremonial gathering. The launch was patronised by Huawei Sri Lanka CEO Shunli Wang, Huawei Device Country Head Henry Liu and Singer Sri Lanka PLC Director Operations Chandana Samarasinghe.
The aim of the Experience Store by Huawei would be to add value for customers who seek to get an understanding about Huawei and their offerings in terms of products and services. The new outlet, located on the 2nd Floor of the KCC would showcase itself as an avenue for smartphone enthusiasts living in Kandy and the surrounding area to visit and get a feel of the brand and get relevant information and doubts clarified.
Speaking about the new investment, Huawei Device Country Head Henry Liu said, “In keeping with Huawei’s promise of swift expansion in Sri Lanka, we are excited to have taken another major step by making our way outside of Colombo and into another major city in Sri Lanka. The public in Kandy will now be able to reach Huawei even more easily through the new Experience Store and fulfill prospective aspirations of owning a Huawei smartphone device.”
The public will not only receive the opportunity of entering the store and ‘experiencing’ the products on display but they can also place their orders and purchase any Huawei device through the Experience Store. Customers who visit the Store will be able to access information, and receive advice and help with regard to Huawei smartphones and devices through the help of dedicated customer sales assistants who are highly trained.
Liu added, “Huawei focuses to reach the number one smartphone brand in Sri Lanka and as our growth continues, Huawei has successfully been able to increase its presence in Sri Lanka. Huawei recognizes Sri Lanka as a major market and sets to continue forward to establish an extensive market footprint within the country. Singer Sri Lanka as our main distributors has immensely influenced in introducing Huawei island wide and make it available to the public. Our venture into Kandy will be managed by Singer Mega KCC, ensuring that Huawei will be a brand that is cherished all around the hill capital.”
