H One takes East-Asian hypermarket Lotte Mart Vietnam to the cloud

Premier Microsoft Cloud Deployment Partner H One Ltd. recently transitioned Lotte Mart’s Vietnam operations to the cloud.
The project, which involved moving the company’s 500+ Vietnam-based employees: factory staff, business users and senior management – to the cloud with next gen productivity tools, focused on enabling the organisation’s employees to collaborate more effectively and efficiently.
Headquartered in Japan and South Korea, Lotte Mart is one of the region’s best-known hypermarket chains for clothing, electronics and groceries. In keeping with the company’s vision to be the leading retailer in East Asia by 2018, Lotte Mart recently expanded into China, Indonesia and Vietnam, posing its employees new challenges in terms of working closely with colleagues across regional offices.
Previously constrained by their existing Domino platform, Lotte Mart Vietnam chose Microsoft Office 365 for its superior email, fully integrated collaboration platform and greater workstyle flexibility which provides employees with anywhere access to their ‘virtual office,’ across a range of devices.
