Going global: JKCS partners with Redpill Linpro Norway

JKCS will be commencing operations for a dedicated offshore development centre (ODC) subsequent to their sign up recently with Redpill Linpro, a leading provider of professional open source services and products in the Nordic region.

Redpill Linpro is the leading provider of Professional Open Source services and products in the Nordic region focused on delivering products and services based on Open Source software. Their service offering includes consulting, development services, training, support, application management and managed services for many of the world’s leading Open Source software products.

Redpill, originally a Swedish venture, was established in the year 2003 and later acquired the Norwegian company Linpro, established in 1995, thus making the establishment Redpill Linpro. The company has established its presence in Scandinavian countries and operates offices in Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen, Karlstad, Gothenburg and Stavanger.

With the expansion of their business operations, Redpill Linpro was in search of a qualified partner in Asia to operate an ODC as an extension to their teams based in the Nordic region. With this objective the senior management team from Redpill Linpro visited Sri Lanka to evaluate JKCS’ capabilities based on their requirements.

JKCS demonstrated their capabilities in fulfilling the requirements put forth and after fruitful and interactive sessions with the local team, Redpill signed up with JKCS for their services. JKCS has been active in the Scandinavian region for over 12 years serving leading clients such as Braathens, SAS and CSC.

Training and implementations of the ODC are currently underway between JKCS and Redpill Linpro.
