Finetech, the local enterprise partner for Google, will be hosting a series of forums on leveraging Google’s scalable applications and Cloud platform.

Google Apps is a completely cloud-based solution that is ideal for medium-sized to large enterprise businesses for constructively and effectively managing collaboration requirements including email, voice, online and offline staff training, video conferencing, document management, office applications, workflow management, intranets and other essential requirements.

The main speakers at these forums are Melina Lee, Google Cloud Platform Sales Lead, Southeast Asia, and Karthik Rajasekharan, Technical Lead for Google Cloud Platform, Asia, while local speakers are Lasith Nanayakkara, CCO, Finetech and a consultant at the Vattanac Bank, Cambodia, and Clehan Pulle, CEO  Finetech , who has over 20 years of experience in the field of Information Communication.

With the explosive growth of mobile applications and services in the enterprise, it is quite a task for CIOs and IT heads to manage, monitor and maintain the various environments of corporate apps.

The Google Cloud Platform offers these organisations fast, smart, and flexible tools that enable users to quickly develop everything from complex applications to simple websites on Google’s highly scalable and reliable infrastructure, as well as the rapid development, deployment and iteration of applications without worrying about system administration. The best part about it is you only pay for what you use.

“Google Cloud Platform offers the unparalleled speed, performance, scalability and reliability needed to launch truly differentiated solutions,” said Clehan Pulle. “Its unsurpassed technology platform has a deep culture of innovation and is now truly a game-changer for organisational structure.”

The forums, to be held from 8-10 September, include the following: ‘How can the finance industry leverage from Google Cloud Platform? ’ at the Institute of Chartered Accountants, ‘Leveraging BIG DATA for Consumer Insight and Marketing Strategy’ at the Chartered Institute of Marketing, ‘Build scalable applications and get more insights on Google Cloud Platform’ at the ICTA, and ‘Cloud Storage & Big Data’ at the Federation of Information Technology Industry Sri Lanka (FITIS).

The forums are targeted at heads of finance, accountants, account executives, heads of IT, IT managers, executives, and COOs. For more information, contact Tharushi on 0710326326 or visit the website
