Etisalat Lanka extended its one-stop shop concept with the opening of its new Flagship Store in the southern city of Galle. Located at No. 119, Wakwella Road, Galle, the new Flagship Store will serve as a specialised outlet where customers can experience new products and receive Etisalat’s efficient and convenient customer service.
The Etisalat Flagship Store features an ‘Experience Centre’ displaying cutting-edge products aimed at enhancing lifestyles and empowering individual mobile communication needs. The Flagship Store allows customers to experience these products first-hand with useful insights from trained customer service personnel. The store also includes a Customer Care Point where Etisalat products and services can be purchased and a Billing Centre, where customers can make their bill payments.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the latest Flagship Store, Etisalat Lanka Director/CEO, Dumindra Ratnayaka stated, “We are thrilled to extend our services to Galle with the opening of our second Etisalat Flagship Store. This store will provide a refreshing and unique new experience to customers. The in –store ambience is designed to inspire customers, while enabling them to discover new technologies that fulfil and enhance their mobile communications experiences and needs.”
The Etisalat Flagship Store opening was graced by The Governor of Southern Province, Kumari Balasooriya, Etisalat Lanka Director/Chief Executive Officer Dumindra Ratnayaka and other Senior Management personnel. Comprising of some of the latest technology, the store also displays the recently-launched Apple iPhone 5. Coupled with Etisalat’s new devices for DC-HSPA+ technology, customers will be open to an array of devices and experience mobile broadband like never before.
At the opening of the Flagship Store, Kisara Kodituwakku, a student of Galle’s Richmond College was felicitated for his achievement as island first at this year’s Grade 5 scholarship exam. He was gifted a Etisalat 21mbps mobile broadband dongle and a free Web Patashala package till 2019, in recognition of selecting Web Patashala as part of his support study material by the State Trading Corporation (STC), Chairman, Pradeep Gunawardena. Web Patashala as an e-learning platform, had assisted Kisara in preparation for his Grade 5 Scholarship exam.
Etisalat Lanka’s Web Patashala product is an e-learning platform that helps students to learn from home using the Internet. This innovative platform and learning tool, helps both students and parents and contains learning material for all grades. Web Patashala is an initiative of the Government together with the Ministry of Education, State Trading Corporation (STC) and Etisalat to provide students an ideal e-learning platform. Embarking on an aggressive expansion drive, Etisalat hopes to extend the Flagship Store concept across many major cities in Sri Lanka. This is part of Etisalat’s broader plan to expand reach in the country, while introducing innovative solutions that will enhance the mobile telecommunications sector.
