EPSI iStore - Sri Lanka’s only digital store which is especially dedicated for world renowned Apple products launched operations on Wednesday.
EPSI Computers Ltd a leading IT company has been appointed as an authorised re-seller for Apple products in Sri Lanka.
The state of the art Apple showroom caters toward all Apple and digital media enthusiasts with the latest services and products. At this store, a wide range of Apple products will be on display and as a value added partner, ESPI provides hands on experience to the user, thus enabling users to experience the products first hand, prior to making a decision to purchase.
The products on display will be a range from iPods, iMacs, MacBook Pros and a variety of Apple related services.
EPSI Computers CEO Niranjan Canagasooryam speaking to Daily FT mentioned that the local consumer now has the opportunity to experience apple products within a week after the official worldwide launch of Apple through EPSI.
He also stated EPSI has invested 50,000 USD in setting up the store.”
The store will not only showcase a wide range of Apple products, but will also provide a number of service facilities to customers purchasing Apple products from this store. EPSI hopes to provide an all round customer service where replacements for faulty Apple products in par with the applicable terms and conditions.
In regard to the low demand for Apple products in Sri Lanka, Canagasooryam stated, “The Apple market in Sri Lanka is identified as a niche market. The demand for Apple products is growing and opening up stores like this will influence consumers to familiarise them with the electronic devices for Apple.” He also said that with the expansion of the customer base EPSI is looking forward to open more stores to bring Apple products closer to the local consumer.
