NBQSA is an internationally accepted event that recognises ‘exceptional local ICT innovations and achievements’ organised by BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT - Sri Lanka section. The cream of the Sri Lankan IT industry competed in 16 categories.

The panel of judges included highly accredited personnel from the fields of IT, academia, marketing, finance, engineering, etc., assuring that all aspects of required fields in the competition met with unbiased, rigorous evaluation.

After accepting the awards on behalf of DSS, Jt. Managing Director Thusitha Rajapakse said: “Our IT team works tirelessly and with commitment to ensure that we as a responsible organisation, manage and coordinate our products and services systematically through reliable and efficient software deployment. This win illustrates that an organisation while serving the country through core and diversified products, can concentrate on developing its IT skills and capacity internally; a move that proves to be effective in the long run.”

TrackIT, which won the Gold award, is a scalable, high performance, enterprise grade IT service management (ITSM) solution that reduces business risks while ensuring high service quality. The software provides this guarantee of performance excellence by linking IT related reports and issues of the organisation’s large network of 200 company owned showrooms and 3,500 dealers, island wide.

DSS’s merit receiver, Intrisys, is a platform independent system that acts as a complete automated system that brings together financial, HR and management aspects of the organisation while enabling efficient and accurate sales and inventory control. One of Intrisys’s key highlights is the ‘Size Matrix’ component, which targets an integral requirement of the fashion industry.
