With their vision to evolve, transform and empower, DMS Software Technologies, recently hosted an event titled ‘What’s Next – DMS Software Technologies 2.0’ in collaboration with Oracle Corporation.
The main objective of the event was to introduce a spectrum of cloud solutions/applications from Oracle Corporation to the Sri Lankan Organisations. These solutions would allow these organisations to achieve excellence in operational processes gearing them to face future challenges and market uncertainties.
The solution introduced comprised of the Oracle ERP Cloud Services that will assist organisations to effectively streamline enterprise business processes and the Oracle HRM Cloud Services that will allow them to grow and retain the best talent, enable collaboration, provide complete workforce insights thus increasing their operational efficiency. Oracle CX Cloud Services will further expand these offerings to allow organisations to manage and enhance their various relationships whether it is customers, partners, suppliers etc.
In his address to the audience DMS Software Technologies Managing Director Lal Chandranath stated that the company would be concentrating on further enhancing their commitment to customer success by offering their clients the opportunity to attain measurable success in their respective industries through the solutions offered. He said that DMS Software Technologies would be not only be offering the full stack of futuristic technology and systems from Oracle Corporation to their clients but would provide enhanced support from his team.
Well-designed solution deployment for each client that would be in line with their individual requirements would be a focus and priority that would now include training and skills development offering. “The future vision of our company is based on offering our valued clients Expertise and Optimised Solutions backed by Accountability,” he added.
The event also comprised of an interesting panel discussion on the topic of ‘Cloud opportunities and market readiness of Sri Lanka’. It was mentioned that Oracle was making significant investments in the Cloud as they see this as the next big wave in computing which will dramatically change how IT is accessed and consumed by businesses and the market. The discussion considered the question of how Sri Lankan businesses should adapt to Cloud Computing and possible constraints, consider how these developments can enhance their business practices. The general consensus of the panel was that companies who adapt to the cloud would gain limitless possibilities and will be poised for future as this technology is the way ahead for the world in meeting computing needs.
A selected range of clients from industries such as Travel, Government, Airline, Manufacturing, Banking, Financial and Insurance that had continuously supported DMS Software Technologies throughout the last 24 years of their operations, were also honoured and recognised at this function. “These clients not only supported our efforts but they also helped us raise the bar on our performance each year and we felt it was only appropriate that we award and recognise them for their loyalty , motivation and encouragement given towards our endeavours to serve them better,” commented Chandranath.
DMS Software Technologies will continue to use and enhance their knowledge and expertise in supporting and marketing the next generation of cloud solutions to Sri Lankan companies. They will be joined in this effort by their global partner Oracle Corporation.
