Dialog Television adds 7 premium channels to line-up

Dialog Television, Sri Lanka’s leading Direct-to-Home Digital Satellite TV has revamped its channel line-up bringing further value to its viewers for no additional cost. Dialog Television has added seven brand new channels to its line-up and reintroduced two more, giving customers more of the very best in local and international entertainment.
Beefing up the home theatre experience is ‘Sundance’ – a dedicated channel for feature films and original programs, and then ‘Universal’ which beams popular sitcoms, documentaries and catch-up movies. Channel ‘E!’ – the ever-popular network for celebrity gossip and red carpet events will keep you up to date of the goings on in tinsel town, and all these channels will be broadcast direct from the Asia-Pacific satellite feed. In addition, Dialog Television also presents ‘Cine-Thirai’ a dedicated channel for Tamil movies and general entertainment exclusive to Dialog Television customers.
Powering up the sports action is ‘Sony-Six’ a 24-hour international sports network, and ‘MTV Sports’ brings you the very best of local sports, news and general entertainment. Keeping viewers up to date on global news and current affairs is ‘Russia Today’, whilst two former stars have been reintroduced due to popular demand – ‘MTV Music’, the 24-hour dedicated international music network, and ‘Citi Hitz’ the local entertainment and showbiz channel.

Subscribers to Dialog Television’s Gold Package will enjoy all these channels for no additional cost, whilst other package holders will enjoy selected channels for no additional cost. Sachet customers can add them to their line-up for a nominal fee. Dialog Television now offers its viewers a total of 93 channels inclusive of its High Definition (HD) content, and the network is committed to bring the very best in modern infotainment to its subscribers. Dialog Television has enhanced its broadcast platform to MPEG4 ensuring a high-quality transmission of its premium content.
