ITU Secretary-General Dr Hamadoun Touré is the patron of Global Cyberlympics, Mr. Dayaratne said.
“Global Cyberlympics aspires to create an opportunity for ethical hacking to be accepted, practiced and demonstrated without any discrimination, across all geographical boundaries – for the purpose of understanding what it takes to protect and secure critical information and assets.”
One key initiative for Global Cyberlympics is to foster an environment that creates child online protection through education, he said.
CICRA is an accredited training center of the EC-Council. It delivers number of EC-Council training programs on cyber security in Sri Lanka, including Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH), Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (C|HFI), and Certified Security Analyst (E|CSA) leading to Licenced Penetration Tester (L|PT).
