CICRA Education announced yesterday that it will host two teams from Sri Lanka at the annual Global Cyberlympics 2012.
“We will host our two teams up to the World Finals on October 29 in Miami, USA,” CICRA Director/CEO Boshan Dayaratne said. “This is the first time in cyberlympics history that a team from Sri Lanka will represent the competition.”
Sri Lankan teams will first compete under the ‘Asia and Middle East’ region. As the competition progresses, teams will be eliminated until a select few teams from each continent remain that will represent their country and region respectively for the World Finals Competition.
“Any Sri Lankan with cyber security skills can apply to join one of the CICRA teams. Selection of members to the two teams will be done on a competitive basis,” Dayaratne said. Those who are interested can email their CVs to [email protected] on or before 23 July.
