For the first time in Sri Lanka, CICRA Consultancies Ltd. is introducing globally recognized integrated Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions to protect critical data of businesses.
“The integrated DLP solutions reduce business risks by preventing confidential data leaks,” CICRA Director/CEO Boshan Dayaratne said.
“It is next to impossible to protect all data in an organisation. You need to classify the data based on its importance and confidentiality, and protect them accordingly. CICRA can support organization for data classification,” Dayaratne said.
He was speaking after CICRA’s appointment as the Master Reseller of Infowatch Group of Companies in Sri Lanka. Infowatch is a Russia based group of companies owned by Kaspersky Lab co-founder Natalya Kaspersky.
Dayaratne said that integrated DLP solutions are provided through enterprise traffic monitoring and endpoint security of businesses.
“Infowatch Traffic Monitor Enterprise is a comprehensive solution for data protection, loss prevention and monitoring the transmission of sensitive information outside a company, as well as for the protection of the company from internal threats,” he added.
“Traffic Monitor key features include preventing the leakage of personally identifiable information and customer data bases, protection against leaks of sensitive data and intellectual property protection.”
“It also helps to identifying intruders, disloyal employees, persons engaged in espionage, conspiracies, sabotage, and facilitate investigation of information security incidents,” he said.
“Traffic Monitor is supported by Infowatch Endpoint Security, which is a solution based on the innovative C.A.F.E. management principle and includes all devices and data paths.”
“The intelligent and central management allows for the easy installation and administration of functionality. Protection is ensured with a high degree of transparency for the users, but mostly in the background to not interrupt users’ workflows – an important factor to achieve users’ acceptance of the security concept,” he said.
