CA Sri Lanka to educate financial professionals on A to Z in hacking

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) will conduct a seminar targeting financial professionals educating them on the A to Z on hacking.
The seminar which will be held on 5 November 2014 will educate financial professionals on how to secure their key financial data, while also helping them understand if their company data has been a victim of hacking.
The program jointly organised by Tech One learning will be conducted by Sumann Subramaniam, a well experienced professional in the discipline who will provide a detailed overview covering several important aspects including what exactly is hacking and how hackers gain unauthorised access to data in a system or computer
Subramaniam will educate participants on how to take counter measures and how to secure the environment they work in, while also shedding light on how attackers behave and how they scan networks.
Focus will also be paid to popular social media networks such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn and the hacking vulnerabilities they possess. He will also explore if Information Systems have sufficient security in the current context.
The target group for the seminar are; information security managers, IT and corporate security managers, corporate governance managers, risk and compliance teams, IT auditors, and senior managers responsbile for IT governance of an enterprise.
Subramaniam is a Microsoft Certified Trainer, as well as a Certified EC-Council Instructor. He is a graduate in software engineering and counts more than nine years’ experience in the field of training deliveries and facilitation.
