New state-of-the-art building provides room for rapid growth as global demand for F&A outsourcing increases

BPO Connect, the Australian-owned and operated accounting services firm, announced today that its operation centre in Colombo has moved to a new, larger facility to pave the way for rapid business growth. “We’ve made sure that our growth is both measured and methodical in order to maintain our focus on product innovation and customer service,” Srini Sankar, BPO Connect’s Head of Global Transformation, said. “The future of the industry demands such clear focus, and we believe we are ready for that future, right now.”

BPO Connect has been making a steady growth trajectory year on year and has now moved to a larger space to accommodate the expansion of its Sri Lankan team and seamlessly scale to meet the demands of their growing clientele. The company has plans to recruit more than 500 staff with both technical and customer relationship handling expertise to serve a large number of blue chip companies that demand the very best in the service delivery. The contemporary office extends over a single open-floor level and is equipped with air conditioning, sound-proof areas, larger conference rooms and floor-to-ceiling windows, in accordance with up-to-date energy saving standards. It is an inviting space for employees and customers alike, according to Sankar. Managing Director Arjuna Samarakoon said the open layout fosters an environment of knowledge sharing and effective collaboration with employees working together as one, sans barriers. According to Samarakoon, the company places great emphasis on utilising sound technology and security systems. The new office accommodates faster internet speeds and power backup, and will also be under continuous surveillance via a CCTV system. Bio metric readers at the entrance will ensure floor access to authorised personnel only and advanced firewall and data encryption methods will ensure data remains extremely secure. “We’re delighted to be moving to a new premise, as we will be able to step up our growth plans considerably.” Samarakoon added: “It’s an important move that will not only allow us to develop the team, but also improve the services that we already deliver to a growing clientele, which has, in turn, resulted in the expansion of our team.”
