Bharti Airtel Lanka recently announced its partnership of being the Official Bronze Sponsor of this year’s HRM Awards which is scheduled to be held on 31 July at Cinnamon Grand Colombo. This is the first time that Airtel Lanka has ventured into sponsorship of an awards ceremony and it is fitting that its first is the HRM Awards 2012 given Airtel Lanka’s commitment to best HR practices.
The HRM Awards 2012 was officially launched on 24 January with a media conference at Cinnamon Grand Colombo. HRP has taken the initiative to invite the Public Sector to take part in the this years’ competition thus, creating a special category introducing three special gold awards and three silver awards while the Private Sector will compete for 10 Gold and 10 Silver Awards.
HRM Awards 2012 is conducted in partnership with AON Hewitt India, the largest human resource consulting group in the world and would benchmark the Human Resource Management in Sri Lanka with internationally accepted guidelines creating value to participating institutions.
The HRM Awards 2012 would select, recognise, and felicitate the best organisations that practice effective HRM methods and techniques both in the private and public sectors. Widely considered a prestigious accolade that honours the passion and commitment of organisations whose innovative thinking and strategies have broken new ground in human resource management, being ranked as one of the ‘HR Super 10’ organisations, is considered one of the top honours in the corporate world. HRM Awards 2012 will be held on 31 July at Cinnamon Grand Colombo.
