Bank of Ceylon partners with TechCERT for advanced IT security solution

Sri Lanka’s No.1 bank, Bank of Ceylon collaborates with TechCERT, the premier computer emergency readiness team, to strengthen the information security and the system of BOC. The agreement between Bank of Ceylon and TechCERT was signed on Monday 10 November 2014 at the Bank of Ceylon Head Office. BOC General Manager D.M. Gunasekara and Tech CERT CEO Professor Gihan Dias exchanged agreements for the information security consultancy services.

Information system security and system enhancement is one of prime concerns of BOC as it enables the bank to deliver more customised and secured financial assistance to its customers efficiently. TechCERT is a division of the LK Domain Registry; since its imitation as a pioneering project of the LK Domain and the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of the University of Moratuwa, it has evolved into a strong IT security and engineering consultancy service provider in Sri Lanka.
