Vice President, Sales, India and SAARC, Cyberoam UTM Solutions, Sunil Sharma visited Sri Lanka recently on an invitation by Avian Technologies – the local distributor of Cyberoam to strengthen its presence throughout the island.
Sharma highly commended the service and cooperation extended to him by Avian Technologies in Sri Lanka and reassured that they’d continue to serve Sri Lanka through Avian Technologies as the main partner. He said, “The need of this product in Sri Lanka is unexpectedly high, as a result of which we are expected to widen the operations in Sri Lanka with thin the next few months.”
Summing up the product range he said: “Our product is fabulous, the potential is immense and our focus is clear. We target all the sectors including individuals, small and medium scale enterprises and large scale conglomerates.”
Cyberoam’s product range offers network security (Cyberoam UTM appliances), centralised security management (Cyberoam Central Console appliances), centralised logging and reporting (bentod are), endpoint data protection (Cyberoam Endpoint Data Protection appliances) to corporations.
Cyberoam UTM provides comprehensive internet security by integrating a range of security features Firewall – VPN (SSL VPN and IPSec), gateway anti-virus, anti-spyware and anti-spam, Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), content and application filtering, web application firewall in addition to enhanced productivity through bandwidth management, multiple link management for load balancing and gateway failover, over a single platform.
Avian Technologies Director Ranil Francisco explained the company’s performance, increasing enterprise focus and future plan initiatives. He spoke about the dedicated staff and the progress during almost four years since joining hands with Elitecore Technologies. Stating that the operations relating to Cyberoam he stressed that the company is confident that Cyberoam will reach greater heights in Sri Lanka.
Touching on the future plans for Sri Lanka, Fransisco said: “Our market is clearly segmented, We have invested in a dedicated team, the successful meetings had with key partners, the key features of the product Cyberoam, and key selling points, we are confident that we can take the product forward. We are looking ahead at a tough competition from our opponents, but with a product like Cyberoam in our hands, the market looks pretty clear.”
