ASUS to forge ahead in Sri Lankan market

Following its recent launch in Sri Lanka, ASUS Computers, one of the world’s biggest technology magnates, announced plans for new product unveilings, and the company’s growing dealer network. “We have some exciting plans for our Sri Lankan consumers in the upcoming months,” said Rajeev Chaudhari, Director Operations and CPM-Sri Lanka for ASUS. “We are considered a pioneer in the laptop market, and have created some amazing products, including the Transformer Book T100, the Zenbook, and the Taichi that were unveiled in Sri Lanka earlier this year that I’m sure our consumers here will love.” The launch also saw ASUS re-affirming their two decade long partnership with EPSI Computers, and tie-up with John Keells Office Automation, the technology arm of leading conglomerate John Keells Holdings Plc “We’ve helped deliver ASUS products to consumers around the island for the last 20 years,” said Niranjan Canagasooryam, CEO of EPSI Computers “The new ASUS products have been extremely popular with consumers for its design, affordability and islandwide availability.” Speaking about the partnership, JKOA CEO and John Keells Group Vice President Janoda Thoradeniya said: “ASUS is a brand that has helped revolutionise the computer industry, for example through groundbreaking products such as the Zenbook – the first Ultrabook of its kind.
