Airtel dials Skype users

Bharti Airtel, has announced that anyone using an Airtel mobile phone in Sri Lanka is now able to use their mobile phone to call any Skype user anywhere in the world.

Available on any handset, customers have only to send an SMS to 689 with the Skype ID of the person to be contacted. Customers will then be sent a return message with a 10 digit Skype dialing ID Code which can then be stored along with the contacts’ usual details and used thereafter to contact the person when they are online.
