With over seven million Sri Lankans online who are developing relationships with brands through social media and corporate websites, while researching purchases to the minutest detail, the landscape of Sri Lankan Customer Experience is transforming. For the first time in Sri Lanka, the Digital Experience Awards 2019 will recognise organisational excellence among Sri Lanka’s leading corporates in digital experience across 10 sectors.
The 2019 Award Categories are as follows: Banking, Non-Banking Financial Institutions, Education, Healthcare, Hospitality, Insurance, Logistics, Retail, Software/Technology (Products & Services) and Telecommunications.
Each entrant is to be assessed based on the Stax Digital Experience Index. Designed by data scientists and technologists at Stax, the Digital Experience Index is a comprehensive analysis of a business’s digital assets to assess the effectiveness of an organisation’s holistic digital experience.
Leveraging over 150 metrics, applied across four service areas, the DX Index benchmarks an organisation’s digital experience over the complete digital customer lifecycle encompassing four stages i.e. awareness, engagement, conversion and growth. This tool sets up a level platform which can be leveraged to compare and rank brands, corporates, and industries, from the digital customer’s perspective.
Bearing in mind that digital experience is the key to strategic growth, Stax looks forward to recognising digital excellence of corporates in Sri Lanka, with a vision of inspiring Sri Lankan businesses to leverage cutting-edge technology and forge successful digital strategies to transform customer experiences. Top scorers within award categories, as identified by the DX Index, will then be judged by an eminent panel of digital experience experts to obtain final scoring.
Applications are currently open on the official award site www.dxawards.lk, and will remain open till the 3 May. The awards, which include recognition across 10 categories, will be presented at a black-tie ceremony hosted at the Hilton Colombo on 15 October and will feature international speakers on topics of driving digital experience. This will also serve as an opportunity for attendees to network with industry leaders.
Recognition at the Digital Experience Awards 2019 will give entrants the opportunity to benchmark themselves against international best practices in their respective industries and establish themselves as the best in class in their sectors.
