Seven reputed Sri Lankan IT companies participated in the Sri Lanka pavilion at the CEBIT Australia 2019 Exhibition, which was held on from 29-31 October at the International Convention Centre, Sydney, Australia.
CEBIT Australia 2019 was a new look at newly imagined technology in Australia, which helped to promote business and IT knowledge sharing technology, connecting people to people, as well as changing the way you do business.
The Export Development Board (EDB), the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (ICTA), and the Consulate General Office in Sydney jointly organised three other events parallel to this exhibition for exposure, such as two B2B meetings and an awareness program for the visiting Sri Lanka delegation at Macquarie University, Sydney and University of Technology, Sydney (UTS), to get insights into modern technology and usage of information technology in Australia. Additionally, the Consulate General Office in Sydney organised a business networking B2B meeting with Australian IT companies for the visiting Sri Lankan IT/BPM delegation on Wednesday 30 October at Tattersalls Club, Sydney, Australia.
IT companies of Sri Lanka, Consul General M.H.M.N. Bandara, Consul (Commerce) Abdul Raheen and ICTA Project Manager Nilan Thimbiripola also participated in these events.
