The South Korean conglomerate has illustrated unwavering consistency maintaining its dominance. Samsung continues to display its determined supremacy due to its innovative products coupled with aggressive marketing initiatives, which have contributed to the brand’s success in Sri Lanka and worldwide. Samsung began its journey in Sri Lanka in 2010, and in over a decade, it has grown into one of the country’s biggest consumer product companies. Commenting on the occasion, Samsung Sri Lanka Managing Director Han Bae Park said, “We are truly humbled to receive these awards for the second consecutive year because it truly underscores the fact that Samsung holds a big appeal to millennials who clearly have high aspirations for their lifestyle. As Sri Lanka’s No. 1 consumer electronics brand, our products appeal to all ages, especially the millennials have been captivated by the diverse range of Samsung smartphones and introducing world’s firsts such as HDR10+ Smartphone Display, Infinity Display Designs, Quad Camera, Bluetooth S Pen, Ultrasonic Finger print sensor, Wireless Power share, Water and Dust resistant devices, etc. We have also combined flagship features with affordability in the mass category. Samsung also appeals to the audience with its state-of-the-art viewing experiences which produce truly life-like images and sounds with the QLED 8K which will be coming soon to Sri Lanka. Winning this accolade in a quick succession over two years amidst still competition from many high profile brands demonstrates Samsung’s ability to keep ahead of the curve when it comes to new technology and innovation is it from Clear Fine Visual Definition to Energy Savings to healthy cooking. We perceive immense scope to entrench the brand credentials of Samsung further in Sri Lanka. We thank the Sri Lankan youth for keeping us in their hearts.”
