SLASSCOM publishes guidance for member companies to help them get their businesses back up and running and workplaces operating safely.
In preparing the guidance SLASSCOM has consulted member companies and had a roundtable discussion. It has been developed with input from SLASSCOM member companies, guidelines issued by the Ministry of Skills Development, Foreign Employment and Labour Relations, Sri Lanka, and the World Health Organization, to develop best practice on the safest ways of working across the economy, providing people with the confidence they need to return to work. There are a number of practical steps that employers can take to manage the risk of exposure to COVID-19 at the workplace and SLASSCOM’s operational guideline document aims to educate members on recommended practices.
