New Vivo smartphone debuts in Sri Lanka

Introducing In-Display fingerprint scanning technology to the V series for the first time together with an Artificial Intelligence (AI) camera, Halo FullView display and AI assistant Jovi the Vivo unveiled V11Pro to the Sri Lankan market on Tuesday, with a retail price of Rs. 69,990.

Incorporating In-Display Fingerprint Scanning Technology, the V11Pro has eliminated the visible fingerprint pad, creating a seamless design from front to back and has effectively created a bigger screen without compromising on security options. 

Featuring a 6.41 inch Super AMOLED Halo FullView Display with a 91.27% screen-to-body ratio, the V11Pro is complete with ultra-thin 1.76mm side bezels and 3D curved body design creating an immersive viewing experience for the user. 

The 12 and five megapixel (MP) dual pixel rear view camera is inclusive of sensors for higher light sensitivity and AI Backlight HDR and AI Low Light Mode captures multiple frames to combine and create perfectly exposed photos in low light. 

Equipped with DSLR-standard Dual-Pixel Autofocus technology, the rear camera also has AI Scene Recognition, which identifies different objects, elements and scenes, and applies customised enhancements to your photos. The 25 MP front camera, introduces AI Face Shaping technology that adds individual treatments to your facial features, along with the improved AI Selfie Lighting feature offering more lighting effects. The AI Portrait Framing prompts the user to take perfectly framed portrait shots every time. Vivo’s AI assistant Jovi, includes features like Jovi Smart Scene where it recognises user scenarios such as checking the weather and provides real time information, Google Assistant which helps with map navigation, online shopping, travel arrangements, music, video and social media and Google Lens which lets users search for what they see.

The accuracy of Face Access in the V11Pro has been enhanced using infrared light to accurately scan 1,024 facial feature points to unlock instantly, even in the dark. The V11Pro’s back cover carries a futuristic design with fusion colours, a blend of black and blue hues.
