MillenniumIT ESP – one of Sri Lanka’s leading systems integrator and information systems providers – recently partnered with Cisco Sri Lanka to offer a free AI-enabled video conferencing system to the healthcare sector in Sri Lanka. This solution, along with state-of-the-art digital infrastructure was installed at the Ministry of Health, Medical Research Institute (MRI) and Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH) last week.
The solution kit consisted of latest collaboration solutions, including two Cisco Webex Kits along with a a video end points, a Cisco DX80, a Cisco DX70 and a Cisco Webex Board. This AI-enabled video conferencing solution enables an all-in-one platform for video and audio conferencing and collaboration amongst the most healthcare institutions currently in the forefront of managing and containing COVID-19 situation in Sri Lanka. MillenniumIT ESP will further extend its support by configuring Webex licences for extended medical specialists attached to the Ministry of Health, MRI and IDH to support seamless remote video conferencing among each other and employees of the respective healthcare institutions.
In addition, the Ministry of Health will now be able to reach out to field staff via video facility in order to monitor the progress of COVID-19 patients and share instant updates of the outbreak.
