Reaching the patient’s location as soon as possible is a very crucial factor in any ambulance service due to the fact that the patient’s entire life is dependent on this time factor. The mobile app automatically transmits the present GPS location of the mobile phone when the user clicks the ‘Call’ button that initiates a voice call. The voice call is made through the traditional PSTN line while the GPS coordinates are transmitted to the 1990 call centre via GPRS. The call agent is able to see the exact location of the patient and can transmit it to the terminal in the ambulance so that it can arrive at the patient’s location quickly.
