Sri Lanka’s prominent enterprise software products and solutions provider IronOne Technologies and BoardPAC bagged five overall awards at the recently-concluded Annual Export Awards 2017, conducted by the National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka (NCE).
IronOne Technologies and BoardPAC Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer was once again feted with the prestigious Most Outstanding Female Exporter of 2017 while IronOne’s committed leadership efforts in shaping Sri Lanka’s IT product innovations sphere was honoured with three gold awards – Gold Award for Most Outstanding Mid Market Company of the Year 2017 (all sectors), Gold Award for Most Outstanding ICT and Professional Services Company of the Year 2017 and Gold Award for Most Outstanding ICT and Professional Services Company in Mid-Market Category of the Year 2017. With these metals, IronOne Technologies was able to win the overall ICT professional sector at the annual exports awards night.
IronOne Technologies also won the Memorial Patrick Amarasinghe Challenge Trophy – the final award of the evening. The prestigious accolade was awarded in the memory of late Deshabandu Patrick Amarasinghe, Founder President of the National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka, who was a pioneer in promoting entrepreneurship in Sri Lanka and steered the chamber to initiate the Annual NCE Export Awards Scheme in 1992.
Commenting about IronOne’s latest achievements, Lakmini Wijesundera said: “We are really excited and honoured to receive these awards at the annual exports awards night 2017. These awards are a testament to IronOne Technologies’ commitment to customers around the world in shaping the mobile-based solutions industry with pioneering product innovations. It is also noteworthy that our overall win at the ICT professional services sector has surpassed all other leading sectors of the country, helping ICT professional services sector to emerge as a mainstream force of exporting, which elevates Sri Lanka’s economy in the long run”.

The Annual Export Awards, Sri Lanka’s prominent business event related to exports, was held recently at the Hilton Colombo with Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe as the Chief Guest. The event which celebrated its 25th anniversary this year has achieved national significance over the years due to its high standard and professionalism in its endeavour to recognise and reward excellence of Sri Lankan exporters in the international market place.
IronOne Technologies and BoardPac currently operates globally across 15 countries with direct offices in Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore, India and USA. It has successfully collaborated forming international partnerships with leading companies in the telecom sector such as Maxis in Malaysia, Robi Axiata in Bangladesh and Dialog Axiata in Sri Lanka among others.
