Informatics International and HNB General Insurance (HNBGI) have signed off on the new software suite contract aimed at revolutionising the latter’s software and technology stack.
The software will cover the core insurance application, access to internal and external users as well as driving customer engagement through mobile touchpoints.
InfoIns 4.0 is an innovative, cloud-ready, end-to-end solution that provides an effective way of meeting the increasingly diverse needs of the current insurance landscape. For Insurers seeking an advanced digital transformation, this provides greater flexibility, increased customer service efficiency, greater transparency across organisational hierarchies and a measurable contribution to the overall growth objectives of a company.
“We have strong system-agnostic capabilities, which means we can work with many technology platforms our clients need us to build our products on. We’ve created InfoIns 4.0 to be nimble, with a holistic approach, flexible coverage points, and relevant business boosters to enable to companies we work with to reach the apex of their industries,” Informatics Group Managing Director Hiran Wickramasinghe said.
HNB Assurance PLC and HNB General Insurance CEO Prasantha Fernando said: “Following a stringent evaluation process we found that the InfoIns 4.0 to be the platform that best suits us in terms of its ability to provide us with the efficiency and flexibility of serving our customers, both in person and digitally. The world as we knew it has changed; digital service delivery has become the norm, remote working is here to stay, competition has intensified. In order for us to deal with all these challenges, a robust IT backbone backed by a reliable service provider becomes an indispensable prerequisite to the organisation. We are happy to have partnered with Informatics and are confident that this system will help us deliver greater value to our customers.”
“We have been in the general insurance business for two decades, initially through our parent, when it was a composite insurer, and now, as its fully owned subsidiary. Over the years we have built a strong customer base who has come to trust and rely on us. This new system will enhance our service delivery and operational efficiencies and help us optimise costs. When evaluating the system, one of the major aspects that we looked at was to get a system that is as future proof as possible in the medium term by being able to accommodate the various add-ons that we would need to keep ourselves attuned with the demands of those times, and, we strongly believe that we’ve found this in Infoins 4.0,” HNBGI Chief Operating Officer Sithumina Jayasundara said.
