Innovative smartphone manufacturer Huawei provides support to consumers through its highly trained staff at its six current customer service centres. Located in Bambalapitiya, Maharagama, Kandy, Anuradhapura, Galle and Jaffna, Huawei Service Centres strive to offer the best assistance to Huawei consumers in Sri Lanka by providing the latest tools, technologies, smart devices and other services through its well experienced and equipped technicians to present first-rate service.
The latest customer service centre was opened in Maharagama on 23 December with the new SI 3.5 Huawei Global Standards. Located at B4, No.125, Amity Shopping Complex, High Level Road, Maharagama. The novel Huawei Service Centre was the most recent addition in providing excellence and support to Huawei consumers. Additionally, the Bambalapitiya Customer Service Centre at No.9/1/2/, Station Road, Bambalapitiya, Colombo 4, was re-opened on the same day, alongside the certification of the SI 3.5 Huawei Global Standards.
A free warranty service is provided for all Huawei Handsets within the warranty period at all Huawei Service Centres. Furthermore, support services are available for Out of Warranty products with applicable charges of labour and spare part additions.
Huawei Devices Country Head Peter Liu commented, “Huawei Service Centres provide the expertise required to keep the consumer smartphones updated, germ-free and secure. It is important to strictly use Huawei authorised repair services. Unauthorised service providers may not be equipped with Huawei certified repair tools and may not be professionally trained or have the required knowledge to execute such services. Our highly trained staff and technicians are available to our consumers in six locations throughout Sri Lanka.”
A handful of special promotions are currently available at the Huawei Service Centres. Discounts for battery replacements are given for selected models of Huawei smartphones and special Service Day promotions are available on every first and third Fridays and Saturdays of each month, by which consumers are given the opportunity to keep their phones in the best condition through value-added services. This campaign was held from the 1 July 2019 until 30 June 2020. The Service Day package includes a free phone Disinfect Service, free Screen Protector Application for selected models and free Software Upgrade.
The Battery Replacement provided by the Huawei Service Centres offers a replacement of the original battery for selected models at a lower price and an additional 90 day warranty. A high quality, safe and reliable battery is offered to several smartphones throughout the course of a month at a special discounted price with no additional charges, including labour charges.
A series of other services are accessible to Huawei consumers through the Service Centres. One of such services is the Smart Diagnosis. Smart Diagnosis is a support tool built to diagnose and resolve customers’ technical issues. It can easily detect phone status anytime, anywhere, locate phone problems, provide official version of the troubleshooting method and different solutions based on the problem type to solve many software and setting problems. It provides full detection coverage, such as hardware, software, calls, network connection, charging, system performance and more. This detection process is short and quick but accurate. It also troubleshoots software and setting faults and provides guidance and repair services for problems that cannot be solved online. If a hardware fault is detected, it provides official entries to more services, such as service centre query and hotline service. Related maintenance knowledge is pushed to provide the customers with more troubleshooting suggestions and skills.
With the Kandy branch located at No. 337, Peradeniya Road, Kandy, the Anuradhapura branch at No. 514/3B, Samanala Building, Maithreepala Senanayaka Road, Anuradhapura, the Galle branch at No.60A, Colombo Road, Kaluwella, Galle, and the Jaffna branch located at Shop number 20 at No.80, Municipality Complex, Kasthuriya Road, Jaffna, Huawei Service Centres are conveniently available to all Sri Lankans to keep up-to-date with their smartphones alongside the special discounts and promotions provided.
In 2019, Huawei was ranked 47th on BrandZ Top 100 list of Most Valuable Global Brands, 79th in Forbes World’s Most Valuable Brands and 25th on the Brand Finance Global 500 Most Valuable Brands lists.
