DreamJobs.lk yesterday announced its acquisition of two popular job-hunting websites, as part of its aggressive expansion to better cater to the growing and fast-evolving technology-driven job market.
It said Everjobs.lk (part of Berlin-based Rocket Internet) and owl.lk are now folded into the DreamJobs.lk portfolio, strengthening its status as Sri Lanka’s largest online job-hunting portal and recruitment platform.
“DreamJobs.lk is now in a superior position to leverage its large and diverse Job Pool with prospective employers hunting for the best talent. Corporate HR Units and Talent Managers work closely with DreamJobs.lk in order to secure their human capital requirements successfully and in a short period,” the company said in a statement.
It said the COVID-19 pandemic has created waves in the Sri Lankan job market as multinationals, corporate companies, small and large enterprises evolve and transform rapidly, to keep up-to-date and in focus.
By embracing this change, job hunters can explore a diverse number of newly created roles and designations with something for everyone across 22 categories of vacancies and a handy job-alert notification as well, so if a vacancy that matches the user’s profile goes live, registered job seekers can have a head start.
Established in 2015, DreamJobs.lk offers a common platform for job seekers and recruiters to interact and employs a special social media mechanism that provides vacancy advertisements with a boost to achieve added reach.
As the segment leader, DreamJobs.lk has a database of over 300,000 registered job seekers, each with a specific skill set and in addition, partners with over 2,500 employers in order to showcase the best jobs for the best talent; making it the natural choice for job seekers of all backgrounds.
