Dialog Enterprise, partnered with Samsung to introduce ‘KNOX’, a mobile security platform, for enterprises; providing enhanced security for Samsung devices through its highly secure built-in platform and a set of solutions, to keep personal data private or remotely manage a batch of business smartphones.

KNOX, an enterprise solution by Samsung, offers devices and users unmitigated freedom to work and play how, where, and when they want. Samsung KNOX consists of a highly secure platform built into Samsung devices and a set of solutions that leverage this platform. Further, KNOX has the versatility to offer Samsung device owners of enterprises the options of keeping their personal content private, or remotely managing a batch of business smartphones.

Dialog Enterprise Group Chief Officer Jeremy Huxtable commented: “Dialog is pleased to partner with Samsung to provide Sri Lankan enterprises with a security solution such as KNOX, to further secure their devices used for business purposes, along with providing users the option of separating and isolating personal and business data. This highly secure platform lends the ability to turn one device into two, thereby providing the best in security for both employers and employees.”

Samsung Sri Lanka General Manager and Head of Mobile Business Shantha Fernando said: “Samsung designed KNOX to protect users’ data through work and play with the guarantee of security from the minute they turn on their device. It is available for individuals to protect data-sensitive private apps and is also available as a corporate business solution. Samsung is pleased to offer KNOX for enterprises in Sri Lanka, in partnership with Dialog.

“KNOX allows users the freedom to operate when and where they want, secure in the knowledge that it offers them the Samsung seal of security. Samsung KNOX is a highly secure platform built into Samsung devices to provide tailor made solutions based on customer requirements. A leader in its field, KNOX is breaking down the traditional walls of the office to usher in a new age wherein which security and usability are maximised, without compromising either. Whether you’d like to keep your personal photos private, or remotely manage a batch of business smartphones, KNOX has you covered.”

KNOX consists of overlapping defence and security mechanisms that protect against intrusion, malware, and more malicious threats. Once a user enters the KNOX-protected side of business phone, they will only have access to a few apps as customised by the company which enables any enterprise to secure their business data against any complications, further protecting these devices for high security use cases.

The KNOX platform includes different components of device security, ranging from varying levels of device configuration to a firmly controlled military-grade mobile security platform. KNOX Enrolment helps corporates register their device inventory in bulk while KNOX Configure lets corporate administrators enforce configurations to their device fleets remotely over-the-air.

Likewise, components that handle deployment within the platform involve KNOX Manage and KNOX Platform for Enterprise, letting corporate administrators enforce and manage varying levels of device and application control. Dialog Enterprise offers corporates in Sri Lanka flexibility with monthly pricing schemes starting from $ 2 per month per device.
