Dialog Axiata PLC, Sri Lanka’s premier connectivity provider, has announced that it had entered into an agreement to acquire the Systems Integration (SI) Business of V S Information Systems Ltd. (VSIS), namely VSIS Enterprise Solutions Ltd. (VES) through Dialog Broadband Network Ltd., (DBN), a fully owned subsidiary of Dialog.
VSIS is privately owned with VES generating an annual turnover of Rs. 2.7 billion. The transaction is expected to be completed in April 2020.
Dialog is a leader in the provision of world-class Enterprise Solutions and was awarded a Tier III Certification for its state-of-the-art Data Centre Infrastructure. The complementary product portfolios of Dialog and VES alongside the best in class ICT solutioning capabilities of VES are expected to combine synergistically towards providing Sri Lankan Enterprises with world class solutions across multiple domains of digital transformation including but not limited to Cloud, IoT, AI and Advanced Connectivity.

VSIS Director/CEO Priyanga Gunasekara stated: “VSIS has grown to be a leader in the Systems Integration Business in ICT sector of Sri Lanka in a short span of 10 years. While this growth was achieved organically, we believe with additional investments coming into VES from DBN, VES will be able to grow exponentially. This acquisition would strengthen VES financially while broadening the offerings of both ICT and mobile IOT services to our customers.”
