Futureworld Sri Lanka’s first Apple Premium reseller, often called the local Apple expert, partnered with Daraz.lk, the island’s leading e-commerce platform, to bring their whole range of original Apple products to the online space. Futureworld will also be launching their latest range of JCPL and Skullcandy products on Daraz.
With all the sub-par products and knockoff parts readily available on the market at the moment, customers who purchase from the wide assortment of daraz.lk have always been able to rest easy knowing that these are the “real deal”. With the dawn of the Daraz and Futureworld partnership, customers will also be able to take full advantage of all the perks that come alongside it, such as a locally enabled Apple Warranty—claimable at any Futureworld service centre across the island, comprehensive after-sale services & year-round installment schemes that Futureworld offers.
The new strategic partnership will enable the fusion of the Apple expertise that is synonymous with the Futureworld brand, with the impressive marketing prowess, online presence and logistical reach of Daraz.lk. Futureworld Sales Head Ramesh De Silva commented on this venture: “With the explosive growth of e-commerce in the Sri Lankan market, coming online to service more customers was somewhat of a no-brainer for us. However, the only question was how to do it effectively, and that’s where the online expert Daraz fits in. We’re quite confident that this new partnership will enable us to grow our e-commerce revenue to at least a 30% share of our sales by the end of the year, and hopefully double that by the year after.”
The two companies will be working closely together on supply chain, fulfillment & marketing, enabling both companies to better understand their customers and to provide them with original products at the best prices aligning quite well with Daraz.lk’s ideals of being the most customer-centric platform.

Daraz.lk plans on expanding into island wide hubs and pickup locations while opening up in Kandy, Gampaha, Chilaw and 7 other locations by the end of May. Customers can gain access to a physical touch point and interact with their teams to receive direct services, and pickup products if they wish to do so. The new expansion is also geared to provide next day shipping to those locations.
