Recently, the Grand Ballroom at Citrus Waskaduwa was filled with the energy of Content Management & Solutions Ltd. (CMS) community.
With its mission of being “the best IT professional offshore sourcing company in the eyes of our customers and our employees,” some of the client representatives, affiliated partners and investors from Belgium and Hong Kong along with employees and their families celebrated the success of 20 years of being one strong family.
The event was followed up by a gala dinner party and the whole crowd stayed overnight at Citrus enjoying the spirit of celebrations.
During the event, long service awards were presented to employees, and token of appreciations were presented to the foreign dignitaries. A newly-revamped www.cms.lk website was launched showcasing the friendly, flexible and the professional work environment CMS is renowned for.
Speaking at the event, Philippe Schwarz (representing Asia Outsourcing Company Ltd.), outlined future plans for growth. Ronald Reach (representing RedCorp NV/SA) recalled his awesome experience being part of the previous ownership and now being a client of CMS.
CMS started its IT operations back in 1997 with a humble beginning of three employees and has now expanded gradually to be one of the best outsourcing companies in Sri Lanka. Since its inception in e-Solutions Lanka Ltd., the crucial success factor of CMS has been always its human capital and the solid partnership with its Belgian affiliated partners – RedCorp NV/SA and BlueCorp SPRL.
This was strongly echoed in the keynotes delivered by the two Directors –Priyanthi Guruge and Nishantha Amarasuriya – who are in fact the initial employees of the company along with Sudesh Jayathunga (ex-Director, e-Solutions Lanka). They reaffirmed that CMS would continue to hire the best talent, develop them into top-notch IT professionals and provide rewarding career opportunities.
During the past two decades, CMS has gained an enviable reputation among its European and US clients for their ability to provide very high-quality IT services on any technology stack. The CMS business model of ‘cloud staffing’ adds to the success, by providing clients with the flexibility and scalability they need on their IT operation, while allowing them to directly manage the cloud staff.
The anniversary celebrations were not just limited to the event. CMS is working on a string of multi-faceted projects during the anniversary year, such as, obtaining ISO/IEC-27001 certification to provide better value addition to its clients, recently inaugurated internship program for university students, etc. In addition to above, CMS along with its staff keeps improving its footprint on communal services with many more projects queued up for 2018 under the ‘CMS Cares’ initiative.
The global talent landscape is changing with the workforce becoming more agile and on demand. And to meet the increase in client demand, CMS sees many job openings in 2018 for IT professionals who are global workforce enabled.
