Rolls-Royce has implemented a new digital system to monitor jet engines on the move, around the globe, at any given time. The enhanced systems allow engineers to monitor the engine performance, their state, health and predict the specific early shop visits and the parts needed.

The system enables Rolls-Royce to provide different services to their airline customers and help manage 70% of the airline’s total operating cost, including fuel. It also boosts customers’ confidence that their engines are being constantly monitored for glitches before they occur. For Rolls-Royce, this not only builds customer confidence and loyalty but it also generates high-yield business.
