The Computer Society of Sri Lanka (CSSL) has announced CSSL National ICT Awards 2020 at a press conference held at the CSSL Secretariat.

National CSSL ICT Awards Elite Category will be held at the inauguration ceremony of the National Information Technology Conference (NITC 2020) themed Towards a Sustainable Digital Sri Lanka.
The CSSL is the premier organisation dedicated to promoting and improving professional standards in the information communication technology sector. Being the apex body representing ICT professionals of the country, CSSL conducts National ICT Awards with the view of recognising and motivating the best and the finest of ICT professionals who are making outstanding contributions to the uplift of the ICT industry in Sri Lanka.
“National CSSL ICT Awards is conducted with the view to recognise ICT professionals who have made an outstanding contribution during the year under review. CSSL accolades intend to encourage, recognise and celebrate excellence in ICT professional practice by rewarding the best and the finest of ICT Professionals,” said Computer Society of Sri Lanka President Prabath Wickramaratne.
Inaugurated in 2013, CSSL National ICT Awards has recognised the cream of ICT professionals in previous National ICT awards.
CSSL awarding for following categories: CSSL Elite awards; Information Security Awards; ICT Management Awards; ICT Start-up Awards; and CSSL ICT Student Category.
CSSL National ICT Awards 2020, under the Chairmanship of Damith Hettihewa Vice President of Computer Society of Sri Lanka, will be evaluated subject to strict selection criteria by an eminent panel of judges, which will be comprised of key industry practitioners and members from the academia.
Nominations for CSSL National ICT Awards 2020 could be submitted online through www.nitc.lk website, and nominations will be closed by 15 August.
