Digital mapping of roads with location pinning is now in Sri Lanka. Digital mapping is a technique where data is gathered to produce maps in the form of virtual images. These virtual images will represent main roads, rivers, significant landmarks such as airports, hospitals, tourist attractions and many more landmarks that would be useful for the general public in any given geographical region.
