LABORIE International, one of the leading manufacturers of computerized Urodynamics equipment signed an agreement with Markss Healthcare (Pvt) Ltd. at their head office in Narahenpita recently. According to the agreement signed, Markss Healthcare holds the sole rights to import and distribute Laborie Urodynamic systems which facilitate the accurate diagnosis and effective treatment of urine incontinence, pelvic floor disorders, sexual dysfunction and spinal cord injuries in adults and children.
LABORIE International, established in 1967 is regarded as one of the world’s most technologically advanced multinational pharmaceutical companies with offices in Canada, USA, UK, France, Belgium, Brazil and China directly employing more than 200 employees. At the ceremony Markss Healthcare Managing Director Rajiv anayakkara said: “We are proud to be the agents for LABORIE International, the world’s best manufacturer in the said product category. With this agreement we are able to introduce some of the world’s best equipment and practices in urodynamics to our country. During the discussions, we realized that the LABORIE’S product range is remarkably exceptional and will be useful in the diagnosis and the treatment of genito-urinary disorders.” Also present at the signing of the agreement between Markss Healthcare and LABORIE International, was Markss Healthcare CEO Sanjay Nanayakkara, Markss Healthcare Director - Cardiac & Surgical Chris Weerasinghe, Markss Healthcare Asst. General Manager R. Melder and Malachi Holdings (Pvt) Ltd., Manager - Business & Field Operations Rasika Abeydeera.
