Responding to a much needed call of providing top quality healthcare services to the 6,000 plus employee strength, at Colombo’s premier IT park, Hemas Hospitals a market leader in healthcare opened their first wellness centre at Orion City, Colombo 8. The centre was declared open by the hospital’s Chairman Murtaza Esufally, Managing Director Dr. Lakith Peiris as well as representatives from the IT companies located at Orion City.
Yet another novel concept by Hemas Hospitals, the wellness centre is planned to address the health and wellbeing of the large employee base of this prestigious IT park, Orion City. Being leaders in the corporate screening market, Hemas has understood the issues at hand of employers in the business process outsourcing industry , where the employee wellbeing is a prime requisite, to be able to cater to the demands placed on them.
Hemas Wellness centre will monitor and address all areas related to physical and mental wellbeing of the employees and will work closely with the employers to improve not only health and wellbeing of the employees but also to improve productivity and efficiency aiming towards a healthy, engaged and motivated workforce.

The newly commenced Hemas Wellness Centre will be open to cater to the requirements of the work force of Orion City and will provide a comprehensive range of service in the wellness front as well as required outpatient services inclusive of doctor consultations, laboratory diagnostics and pharmacy services.
The services will be delivered on an innovative technology platform, on a concept of ‘managing our health whilst you are at your desk’ in keeping with the technology usage of the target group.
